Liverpool certainly look to have got the transfer window well and truly open today after agreeing a £20m deal with Sunderland for Jordan Henderson. The deal will reportedly see David N’Gog move to the Stadium of Light as the makeweight, although I am sure that Mackem fans will be disappointed to see their local hero move away.
In the papers this morning there have been a mixed bag of stories that include Carlos Tevez’s future rests on the chase for Sanchez; Martin Jol wants Chris Hughton to join him at Craven Cottage, while Theo Walcott knows why some players are looking to leave Arsenal.
