West Ham United picked up their first point under David Moyes as they drew 1-1 with Leicester City at the London Stadium on Friday night, but Irons fans weren’t impressed with Angelo Ogbonna’s performance.
The Italian started alongside Winston Reid at the heart of the defence as the east London outfit looked to move out of the relegation zone, but both he and the New Zealand international were at fault for Marc Albrighton’s early opener for the visitors as they failed to stop the danger.
While Cheikhou Kouyate did score a first-half equaliser for the hosts, they couldn’t find the goal that would have taken them above West Bromwich Albion and out of the bottom three.
West Ham supporters were quick to have their say on Ogbonna’s showing via social media, and while one simply said he is “embarrassingly bad”, another believes “he needs to leave in Jan”.
