Eric Bailly has seen some difficult spells at Manchester United and he just can’t seem to catch a break.
Ever since the 25-year-old defender joined the Red Devils from La Liga and Villarreal in 2016, he has unfortunately been riddled with numerous different injuries.
And now, just after finally returning to fitness and actually tallying some minutes under his belt, he got injured again after landing rather awkwardly while trying to chase down Son Heung-min in the game against Tottenham Hotspur.

Bailly was immediately stretchered off and the club have since confirmed the severity of his injury, stating that he will be out for four to five months.
Antonio Valencia, the former United captain who departed this summer, has now taken to

He told him that he will “get stronger” and that he has to make sure “never to lose that smile” from his face.
The message was accompanied with a great photo of the player himself.
Bailly only managed to accumulate a total of 18 appearances in 2018/19 season, only 12 of which were in the Premier League.
