Promotion-chasing Sussex and Glamorgan were frustrated by the rain which washed out the first day of their County Championship Division Two match at Hove.Morning rain finally stopped at midday but umpires Peter Willey and Barry Dudleston decided at 3.30pm, after three inspections, that parts of the outfield were too damp for play.Leaders Sussex went into the game 20 points clear of second-placed Glamorgan and closing in on an immediate return to Division One.
