Rain holds off on morning of TVS Cup opener

1.20pm Despite worries that rain would doom the opening match of the TVS Cup, Chennai experienced no rain on the morning of the game. Although there was heavy overnight rain, the entire field was blanketed in covers, protecting both pitch and outfield.
